I am a high school senior named Ian Burke. I live in Maine and designed this site because I am a member of Captain’s Club which is a drug and alcohol free club. I wanted to design an educational site, and realized that a site about responsible drinking would be much better received than the scare tactics used by most sites.

My beliefs on drinking are that drinking is not something I am going to do, but it is not wrong. I have seen many responsible adults drink and find no problem with that. I have also seen teenage alcohol abuse, and although it seems fun at first, it often becomes dangerous. I find drinking to be a potentially safe activity, but just like anything, there are risks involved.
